Enoch, Noah and the Flood

By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

What can we do to be righteous?
- Apologize to God
- Rethink
- Do something for someone else
- Tell God how I am feeling
- Talk to a friend
- Find a scripture
Faith of Noah – Building the ark (Gen 6:14-22)
- 450 feet long, 3 levels – years to build – neighbors reaction
- Bring the animals into the ark
- No flood before (Had it even rained?) Heb 11:7
- Everyone was evil
- Enter the ark 7 days before the flood
- In the ark for a year
The Flood – Gen 7:11
Springs of the great deep burst forth – (plates shifted) Floodgates of heaven were opened – (magnetic field shifted, hydrgen entered, massive rain for 40 days) Evidence all over the world, i.e. Grand Canyon – Signs of the flood (at the same time requires geology knowledge) Physics are challenging – Sky holding 40 days of rain, covering the mountains by 20 feet, animals in the ark - Loss of Hope
