Nairobi Church Christmas
Dear All,
On behalf of Nairobi Christian Church, I wish to thank all those who sacrificed to enable the children here have such a memorable and special Christmas season. Words cannot accurately describe the profound impact the gifts you sent to us had in the lives of over 750 children here in Nairobi.
To make it special, we decided to have one of the brothers here dress as Santa Claus and give out the gifts to the children during our Sunday service. We organized to have the children in age groups as they received their Christmas gifts in the presence of their parents. At that point, what amazed everyone was the quality of the gifts and the amount of time and effort that was put in getting the gifts here. For most of these children, those were the only gifts they were going to receive that year.
The congregation was in awe when I announced that the gifts were from the Triangle Church; being cognizant of the fact that this was the third consecutive year we were enjoying such special gifts – not to mention the regular support, Kenya kid support, books and clothes whenever we visit, money that was sent this same year to purchase land, among many other things. After service, the disciples keep sharing about the great example Triangle Church has been setting for us and the need for us to emulate such a kind example and do the same to those who are less fortunate than we are. The gifts made the service that Sunday to be more ecstatic and glorious.
Once again, thank you for your kind and generous hearts. We pray that our good lord will continue blessing your hearts of gold!
