Proverbs 22:6

“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”

It’s hard for non-school aged children to sit through an entire service, and they really aren’t learning anything, except how to sit still. So, at a point in our worship service we ask our volunteer teachers to teach our children. The kids have an opportunity to learn a biblical lesson, just like their parents, but in a way that they can learn. There are classes for children aged 6 months through middle school.

Children's Ministry

Through the eyes of genuine innocence and with a heart of simple faith and trust like that of a little child’s, truly a childlike person, if only for a brief moment, may stand at Heaven’s gate and look into the eyes of Jesus, our Savior, Lord and King.

Where the world often diminishes the role of young children and in turn pushes them away from the focal point of family and community relationship building, Jesus breaks with tradition and gathers young children to his presence in public sight and reminds all people, in all ages: “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like little children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 18:3-4, NASB).“
